Wolf Spider (Lycosidae)

Posted by
itchydogimages (Pu'er, China) on 18 September 2011 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

This small variety of wolf spider is very common in Beijing. You will see them sunning themselves on rocks and paths and foliage in very large numbers. They carry their egg sacs and newly hatched young with them as well.
